We have completed the game and have submitted it for approval over two months ago. As stated, Valve wants to update Steam with new features before approving the game. In the meantime, we are in talks with numerous other distribution platforms to get the game released as soon as possible.
Additionally we are aiming to get the game keys to KS backers before the public build release to give time to fix any missing/nonfunctional keys, further information on this will come at a later date.
Game in Final Approval + Glowstick Preview + Interview

Hey everyone,
This is just an update to let you all know that the game is feature-complete, and is in the final stages of QA and is awaiting approval from our distribution platforms. Our QA checks finished last week, so Love In Space are currently implementing fixes. Once we're sure everything works and Steam gives approval for release, the game will be ready to go! We're crossing our fingers that all of that will finish up before the end of this month.
Physical items will hopefully be shipped out around the end of summer. Very soon, we'll be submitting an order for the keychains, mousepads, and dakis. Designs for the physical game box and soundtracks aren't finished yet, but should be before the end of June. All other rewards will ideally be ordered by the end of June as well, with the intention of shipping in July/August. Earlier today, we met up with Lumica in order to get a preview of the lightsticks, which you can see here.
The lightsticks will have the white hilt and strap as shown above, and have 14 different color lights to cycle between. With the designs approved, the order will be submitted to the factory later today, and production for the full batch is estimated to take about a month. We'll keep you posted with any progress updates!

Vocal Song Previews + Backerkit Lockdown Date

Hey everyone,
Following our announcement of Elements Garden joining the project, we've got something really exciting today: a preview of the vocal songs! What you're about to hear are technically still works in progress, so the final versions might sound a bit different. We hope you love them as much as we do - the voice actresses and musicians have all done such a wonderful job!
Remember, the vocal tracks are available on their own separate CD, not as part of the OST, so make sure to grab that on Backerkit.
Speaking of, we're going to be locking down Backerkit on April 20th. You'll be charged for any addons you selected that weren't included in your original pledge amount. Pre-orders from Backerkit itself will also be charged then. So if you've changed your mind on any items since the campaign ended, be sure to remove them from your Backerkit before you get charged for them. Elements Garden Music Production Group Join Starnova Project

Hey everyone,
Love In Space has been hard at work wrapping up production on Starnova and are coming close to the finish line, so we can all look forward to a release in the coming months. The developers recently traveled to Japan to oversee voice acting recording, which by now is all wrapped up.
That's not the only big news to come from the Japanese side of things, though. Love In Space is super excited to announce that the music production brand Elements Garden will be joining the Starnova project, working on the production of the vocal songs for the game. Elements Garden s a group of veteran music composers led by composer, Noriyasu Agematsu, and are well known in the world of anime and gaming music. They’ve worked with popular singers such as Nana Mizuki, Minori Chihara and groups such as JAM Project and Milky Holmes. They’ve also produced and written music for anime series such as Uta no Prince-sama, Symphogear, Muv-Luv: Schwarzesmarken as well as game series such as The Fruit of Grisaia, Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue, and BanG Dream!
The quality of the new versions of the songs is astounding, and we'll have some samples to share with you all really soon. Most of the main game is complete at this point, with the developers still working on the bonus onsen stretch goal content, as well as voice acting implementation and final polishing. Final designs for the physical merchandise are also being worked on, which we'll be showing when we can. In the meantime, Backerkit will be closing in mid-April, so be sure to purchase any add-on's you're interested in while you can. You'll be charged for your order when Backerkit closes.
